Admit it, there’s that weird side of you that’s just dying
to go out; namely the side that craves for food, specifically our own weird
food concoctions. This can range from a variety of dishes, each unique to a
person’s taste buds. People all around the world want to eat different kinds of
dishes that normal restaurants wouldn’t be caught dead serving. Eating S’mores
would have been a normal occurrence in a campsite but instead, you dip graham
crackers in water. That makes you an oddity, a weirdo.
Ever wonder why this happens? No, it isn’t some weird glitch in our DNA or a sign of dementia. As a person who also enjoys eating weird food that I have somehow concocted together, I do so because I enjoy food, especially when adjusted to my taste. Don’t get me wrong, I love the occasional drive-thru in McDonalds but there’s something fascinating about creating my own recipes that aren’t found in restaurants or supermarkets.
No, I don’t enjoy cooking. That’s probably why I the dishes
listed here are already cooked, baked, or packed because God knows I could
probably blow up the whole house when I’m left alone in the kitchen. We most
likely feel as though we can pig out after creating something on our own. It
makes us feel like Master Chefs in our own kitchens. Or perhaps it makes us
feel better after a really bad day that we just want to curl up on the couch
and stuff our faces with anything we can get our hands on.
Whatever your reasons are for concocting weird dishes,
remember to eat without fear of prejudice. Be confident in the fact that you’re
at home and no one but your family can see you. Anyway, it’s not like you binge
every day, just do so occasionally. Learn to create your own dishes that may
seem odd to others but something that you enjoy. It can be your little secret
and if they have no idea that it tastes good, then you can pig out to your
heart’s content without having to share.
