Everyone is tearing, biting, and grabbing at everything they
can reach. It’s turning into a madhouse before your very eyes. But no, it isn’t
Brad Pitt or Ryan Reynolds being dropped off by a shiny black limo. It’s your
posse, your team, your buddies, or you can simply call them your friends.
They’ve just barged into your front door and made themselves comfortable in
front of the TV. Sooner or later the pizza boxes are going to stack up and
their hungry bellies aren’t going to wait much longer for the second batch.
Why not try to create a new kind of pizza that’s both unique
yet oddly satisfying? I’ve recently discovered a new pizza being offered by
Alberto’s Pizza which is the Oreo Pineapple Pizza. By the way, this is only
available for order in the Philippines but you and your friends can learn to
make your own. That is, if your mom trusts you enough not to blow up the whole
house.
The ingredients are very simple: tomato sauce, crushed oreos, thin crust pizza, mozzarella cheese, and pineapples. Just make it like you would make any old pizza but for starters, here's how it will work. First, spread tomato sauce on top of your thin crust. Second, add as much mozzarella cheese as you want. The more, the better! Third, scatter the pineapples on top, in any shape that you prefer. You can add more cheese if you like, nobody' stopping you. Add the finishing touch which is your crushed oreos, pop it in the oven, and voila!
My first impression was that no way was I spending money on
a pizza topped with Oreos. I mean that just sounds weird right? But I’m glad I
did because I now hold in my hands the money to purchase more. The only moments
my friends and I are found silent are when we are eating this odd yet
somehow
delectable dish. And if you cherish your sanity and want to spend a few quiet
moments with your friends, contemplating the forces at work in the universe,
then this is definitely the odd combo for you.
